Group Manager

Role Overview: You are being hired as a Group Manager Contracting & Sourcing with a primary focus on contract lifecycle management (70%) and a secondary emphasis on strategic sourcing (30%). Your responsibilities will include leading a contracting team, overseeing negotiation processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting sourcing initiatives across various categories. If you possess attention to detail, strong commercial acumen, and experience in managing complex contracts, this role is tailored for you. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the contract drafting, redlining, negotiations, renewals, and amendments. - Ensure compliance with legal, commercial, and regulatory requirements. - Maintain a centralized contract repository and ensure audit readiness. - Monitor vendor contract obligations and SLA compliance. - Guide and mentor a team of contracting specialists. - Support RFP/RFQ processes and supplier evaluations. - Conduct market research and price benchmarking. - Contribute to cost savings and category optimization projects. - Assist in vendor selection and commercial negotiation. Qualifications Required: - 8-12 years of experience in contracting & sourcing with a strong focus on contracting. - Experience in procurement services, vendor governance, and contract management. - Ability to lead and develop teams. - Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. - Proficiency in SAP / Ariba / Coupa preferred. Additional Details: You will collaborate with legal, finance, operations, and business units, acting as the escalation point for contracting and sourcing queries.
