Graduate Engineer trainee

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of performance improvement and cost optimization projects across the supply chain.
• Collect and analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Support implementation of new SOPs, digital tools, or automation initiatives in warehouse, procurement, vendor management, or QA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., warehouse, QA, planning, sourcing, merchandising, and IT) to drive project goals.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for internal review and senior management updates.
• Conduct time-and-motion studies, workflow mapping, and root-cause analysis where required.
• Ensure timely documentation and tracking of project milestones, risks, and outcomes.
• Coordinate with vendors and partners on pilots, process trials, and improvement activities.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and contribute fresh perspectives to internal initiatives.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech from Tier-1 institute (including Institute rankers from Tier 2 / 3 institute)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI, Python, or any ERP tool is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a structured, detail-oriented, and collaborative manner.
• Quick learner with the ability to adopt and apply emerging technology like AI tools
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-evolving business setup.
  

Preferred Background

• Internship or project experience in supply chain, operations, or process improvement.
• Exposure to retail or jewellery industry processes is an added advantage.
• Keen interest in lean management, Six Sigma, AI, or digital transformation initiatives.
