The Role

As we expand our footprint in the Global Private and Public Markets, we are looking for a dedicated Analyst to support our growing client base. This role will involve working closely with clients, helping them navigate the complexities of international business and equity valuations and audit processes, and ensuring they maximize the value of Qapita’s services.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain complex financial models to support the valuation of private companies and share options, warrants, and other derivative instruments
• Conduct various valuation methodologies such as OPM Back-solve, Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Black Scholes Merton (BSM) and other methodologies
• Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Address audit inquiries and provide documentation that supports valuation methodologies and assumptions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate management reporting

Qualifications:

• Legally authorised to work in India without requiring a work visa sponsorship
• Relocation to Pune required
• Excellent academic grades with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a reputable university
• Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA) will be a plus
• Individuals with ≤ 3 years of work experience with strong technical skills are welcome to apply
• Strong understanding of financial modelling and valuation techniques
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
