Job Description

Qapita is a pre-Series B equity management platform catering to startups and listed companies. With a client base of over 2,000 companies across Asia, ANZ, and the US, Qapita currently oversees more than USD 60 billion of equity value held by over 350,000 employees and investors. The platform provides cap table management tools for startup founders, offers VCs a comprehensive view of their portfolio companies, and aids in fund administration, portfolio valuation, and reporting tools. Qapita also assists private and public companies in managing equity and cash incentive programs, commonly known as ESOP. The role of an Analyst at Qapita involves supporting the expanding client base in the Global Private and Public Markets. This position will require close collaboration with clients to help them navigate international business intricacies, equity valuations, and audit processes effectively, ensuring they derive maximum value from Qapita's services. Responsibilities include building and maintaining intricate financial models to support private company valuations, share options, warrants, and other derivative instruments. The Analyst will be responsible for implementing various valuation methodologies such as OPM Back-solve, Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Black Scholes Merton (BSM), and others. Additionally, the role entails preparing detailed valuation reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders, addressing audit inquiries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate management reporting. Qualifications for the position include legal authorization to work in India without requiring a work visa sponsorship, a willingness to relocate to Pune, excellent academic credentials with a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields from a reputable university. Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CFA or CA are a plus. Candidates with 3 years of work experience and robust technical skills are encouraged to apply.
