We are an environmental products and services organisation providing waste management solutions for over 20 years in India. We have a diverse portfolio that includes Garbage Compactors, Mechanical Road Sweepers, Beach Cleaning Machines, Property Maintenance Equipment, Robotic Cleaning and other allied waste handling equipment. We work closely with companies that are in the field of Engineering, Construction, Waste Management, Recycling, and infrastructure development along with leading Municipal bodies including Smart Cities. Responsibilities * Expanding and managing the sales network by identifying and pitching to potential partners through cold-calling, networking and setting up meetings. * Visiting potential clients on a regular basis, these may include municipalities and private/public sector companies * Managing the region assigned and working closely with the business development team at the head office * Identifying new opportunities and strategies to boost the sales of products and equipment * Good with government liasioning * Planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales * Generating new leads and identifying sales opportunities through cold calling, market and competition research, and online portals * Should have in-depth knowledge about the products and services we offer * Creating daily and weekly reports on sales visits and potential clients * Working closely with the marketing team to set up strategic business development products, including proposal preparation, pitches, quotations, and pursuit and providing excellent after-sales service and client service on a timely basis. * Clear vision and direction with a goal-driven and determined mindset with ownership * Coordinate with other sales team members to ensure company targets and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring * Interacting with the service team on a regular basis and visiting existing sites to understand more about operations * Should be willing to travel to explore potential sales opportunities Qualifications * Bachelor's degree / Masters / MBA from a reputed university * 1-5 years of prior government sales experience. Knowledge of machinery sales/capital goods will be preferred * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Spoken Bengali is a must Show more Show less
