Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Government Sales Manager to spearhead our business development activities with Central and State Government departments, PSUs, and government agencies across the Delhi NCR region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, managing tenders and RFPs, and building strong relationships with key government stakeholders to expand AppSquadz’s footprint in the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with Government departments, PSUs, and Ministries related to IT, Cloud, Cyber Security, and Application Development.
Manage the complete government sales lifecycle – from lead generation, pre-sales coordination, proposal submission, to post-award follow-ups.
Monitor and respond to government tenders, RFPs, and GEM opportunities relevant to AppSquadz’s portfolio.
Coordinate with internal technical, presales, and delivery teams for preparing high-quality proposals, presentations, and demos.
Ensure participation in relevant empanelment’s and rate contracts with key government agencies.
Maintain a strong relationship with decision-makers, procurement heads, and IT officers in government departments.
Represent AppSquadz at government meetings, conferences, and industry events to showcase capabilities and solutions.
Keep track of market trends, competitors, and upcoming digital initiatives in the government domain.
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets in alignment with company objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate in Engineering / IT / Computer Science / Business Administration; MBA preferred.
4–5 years of proven experience in government or institutional sales within the IT / Cloud / Software / ICT domain.
Strong understanding of government procurement processes, e-tendering, and GeM / CPPP / NIC / eProcurement portals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials and PSU stakeholders.
Familiarity with RFP processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in promoting Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP, NIC, etc Cloud), Cyber Security, Application/Portal Development, or IT Managed Services to government clients.
Knowledge of MeitY, NICSI, DGS&D, or State IT Department empanelment.
Established network within key Delhi NCR government departments and PSUs.
