Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Budget Planning & Forecasting

    Develop annual technology budgets, forecast expenditures, and align financial plans with strategic objectives.
  • Cost Optimization & ROI Analysis

    Monitor technology spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure maximum return on investment for all tech initiatives.
  • Vendor & Contract Management

    Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to maintain cost efficiency and compliance with budgetary guidelines.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance

    Prepare accurate financial reports for technology projects and ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory standards.
  • Work in collaboration with Application Manager, Vendor & Business Users to track and support overall delivery for Projects/Changes being initiated within the Organisation
  • Strong governance model in each area of Project Management, Change Management process & Quality Assurance from IT Perspective.
  • Ensure successful initiation, planning, execution, control and completion of CRs & Project through monitoring, tracking and analysing project control metrics.

Responsible to manage Risks during the Project lifecycle.

  • Work with Business Team - Project Plans for execution of IT Projects
  • Produce weekly project status reports
  • Tracks the complete process of BRD to Go Live with Business, Testers, Vendors and Application managers.
  • Perform scope management include initiating change requests for changes arising out of a Project and performing change control activities during the project lifecycle
  • Manage project risks and mitigating as necessary
  • Review WBS along with the BA & Application Managers
  • Work closely with BA, Vendors, Release manager for development & deployment activities.
  • Ensure daily/weekly/monthly Project Huddles and Governance meetings
  • Accountable & Responsible for Preparing Change Control Report and publishing on a weekly basis to all stakeholders.
  • Table releases in the CCB

  • Ensure closure of open IT related issue within the Project Team
  • Ensuring every task as highlighted and scoped is accounted and allocated to respective stakeholders
  • Communicating impact of Projects to Stakeholders.
  • Accountable for documentation of the Project and its repositories.

Ensuring peer review between BAs & Application Managers.

10+ years of experience which include Project Management, understanding of software development, Database, Integrations methodology, System analysis, Application Architecture, Application management & Project implementation.

Familiar with insurance domain and its operational procedures.

Hands on experience Agile Methodology

Educational Qualification: BSc/B.Com/ICWA/BE/MCA/MBA
