The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Looker development , data modeling , and BigQuery integration . You will play a key role in rapidly building scalable dashboards and configuring data connections for multiple clients. Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Looker dashboards, Looks, and Explores based on business requirements. Configure and optimize Looker-BigQuery connections , ensuring efficient data access and performance. Implement LookML models, views, and explores to transform raw data into usable business metrics. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, visualization errors, and performance bottlenecks in dashboards. Ensure data governance , security , and access controls are implemented within Looker. Optimize SQL queries used within LookML to ensure dashboard performance. Automate report generation and scheduling using Looker features for client deliverables. Stay updated with the latest features in Looker and BigQuery and suggest improvements. Required Skills Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Google Looker . Proficiency in LookML and understanding of Looker architecture . Experience working with Google BigQuery and connecting it with Looker. Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts. Ability to build interactive and performance-optimized dashboards. Good grasp of ETL processes , data pipelines, and BI best practices. Experience working in agile development teams and managing client expectations. Nice to Have Exposure to data transformation tools like dbt. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services apart from BigQuery. Knowledge of data security standards and compliance.
