GM Partnerships & New Plant Development

Job Overview:

Lead the business expansion of the company’s biomass pellet division by building strategic partnerships and setting up new manufacturing plants. Responsible for assessing the biomass potential of target areas, developing supply chains, and launching new project sites efficiently and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess new geographic areas for biomass potential, utilizing GIS, field surveys, and market data.
• Lead resource assessment studies for agricultural/forestry residues and other biomass feedstocks.
• Develop and manage partnerships with suppliers, agencies, and technology providers to secure feedstock and new business opportunities.
• Initiate feasibility studies and investment proposals for new plant locations.
• Coordinate site selection, permitting, and local stakeholder engagement for new projects.
• Negotiate and execute agreements for raw material sourcing and project partnerships.
• Prepare and present resource assessment and business development reports.
• Monitor regulatory developments and leverage government schemes for plant setup.
• Support the supply chain team in optimizing procurement and logistics for expanded operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or related field.
• Proven track record in business development, partnerships, or industrial project management.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and sustainability certifications preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Number of new sites assessed and successfully launched.
• Volume and reliability of new biomass partnerships.
• Effectiveness and timeliness of resource assessment reports.
• Return on investment and payback metrics for new projects.

Work Location: Jhansi / Field assignments as required
