Vishay India (VCIPL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vishay Intertechnology Inc, USA. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing unit is in Loni near Pune wherein around 1000 employees are employed. VCIPL has also established a Global IT support center at Magarpatta Cyber City in Pune and Sales offices at Bangalore & Delhi (NCR).

What you will be doing:

1. Support the Divisions through the coordination of requests for Export Control information to include Export Classifications, HS (Harmonized System) codes, Country of Origin, and % Controlled Content determinations between CTC and Divisions/Expert Networks
2. Develop and manage processes for the coordination of requests as described above.
3. Monitor and provide status updates for the above
4. Collaborate with Logistics Trade Compliance (LTC) on classification and Material Master items as necessary.
5. Support Logistics Trade Compliance regionally
6. Work with Restricted Party Screening (RPS) application to review potential matches with relevant Restricted Party Lists
7. Get final decision from Corporate Trade Compliance (CTC) on the result of their reviews.
8. Once matches are confirmed by CIC and related parties (Sales, Procurement Finance); identify Orders attested and coordinate relevant order blocks-end shipments. Perform individual RPS -- Screenings upon request.
9. Obtain data elements, specification documents, or material information from the divisions to ensure proper classification of items (eventually, once trained and more mature in the role.)
10. Support various stages of audits and assessments, both Internal/External as related to applicable Records Management and Document Collection
11. Provide status, reports and metrics pertaining to applicable Records Management, and assist with Internal training sessions related to Records Management.
12. Eventually, assist Divisions with HTS code determinations.

What you will bring along:

• BE/B.Tech
• 4 to 8 years relevant experience
• Understanding and experience with ECCN and HS classification methodology. Ability to work in a global team and communicate effectively in English.
• Proficient with complete Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, and PC skills. Experience with database systems is preferred.
