  • BCG’s Windows Operating System team is a part of the Personal Productivity Portfolio within our Worldwide IT organization.
  • The team owns and drives the next version of Windows including imaging and upgrade products (cloud and on-prem) to a large global organization (~35000 end points) while also working with application teams to ensure the integrity of the operating system and overall end user laptop experience.
  • Applicants will work with highly cross-functional global teams taking a pro-active approach to identify potential issues and improving the Windows environment and ultimately the end user experience.
  • As a Windows Operating Senior System Engineer, you will use on-prem technologies such as AD and SCCM and cloud-based technologies such as Intune and Autopilot for deployment of the OS within the environment. You will be responsible for packaging, testing, and deploying image and upgrade products to end users. You will work closely with other Windows related teams in accomplishing our unified Portfolio objectives.
What You'll Bring
  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • Experience providing end-user support with a focus on user experience and efficient ticket handling in ServiceNow.
  • Proven experience with SCCM (including packaging, maging, configuration items, and collection management).
  • Experience in cloud-based technologies including Entra ID, Intune, and Autopilot for modern endpoint management.
  • Hands-on expertise with both Cloud Native and Hybrid Autopilot deployments.
  • Strong experience with Windows operating systems, including image creation, testing, and deployment at global scale using Autopilot and SCCM.
  • Experience with Windows Hello for Business and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in reading and analyzing Windows event logs for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell.
  • Change and release management experience for production rollouts
  • Experience opening support cases and collaborating with Microsoft on issue resolution.
  • Strong understanding of Windows laptop performance and stability tuning.
  • Experience working in Agile environments using tools like Jira.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT tools including Aternity, ServiceNow, Active Directory, Power BI, and Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts through well-structured documentation, data analysis, and live demonstrations.
  • Ability to write technical documentation
  • Previous experience supporting end users, focused on User Experience, ServiceNow Ticket handling
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical teams, application owners, and IT services to ensure system usability and value delivery.
  • Skilled at conducting process reviews to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement in endpoint management strategies.
