Job Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Gifts & Novelties , spices & toys shops inside the adventure park. The role involves ensuring smooth daily operations, driving sales, implementing merchandising strategies, managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for gift and novelty shops.
  • Supervise day-to-day shop operations, ensuring smooth functioning and compliance with park policies.
  • Train, motivate, and manage shop staff to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely stock replenishment.
  • Introduce new and attractive products relevant to tourists, families, and children.
  • Oversee visual merchandising and shop displays to attract customers.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze sales performance, prepare reports, and present improvement strategies to management.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for promotions, discounts, and festive offers.
  • Ensure proper cash handling, billing accuracy, and adherence to company policies.
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Sales & Marketing / Retail Management (preferred).
  • 3 years of proven experience in retail sales, preferably in gifts, novelties, souvenirs, or tourism-related retail.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service standards.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, tourist-driven environment.
  • Fluency in English and Malayalam (Hindi/Tamil added advantage).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
