Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven General Manager – Sales & Marketing to lead our sales and marketing division. The role requires a strong leader with proven expertise in the automobile industry, capable of driving sales growth, building brand value, and managing dealer/distributor networks across regions. Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership: Develop, implement, and monitor sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Drive business growth through dealer, distributor, and channel network expansion. Establish strong relationships with dealers, corporate clients, fleet operators, and key accounts. Oversee pricing, margins, and profitability management. Marketing Strategy: Plan and execute marketing campaigns (digital, offline, and BTL activities) to enhance brand visibility. Create effective product positioning and promotional strategies. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Lead branding, PR activities, events, and automobile exhibitions. Team Management: Build, train, and lead high-performing sales and marketing teams. Monitor performance, provide mentoring, and ensure target achievement. Coordinate with cross-functional departments for seamless operations. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and strategic alliances. Handle institutional and government sales (tenders, contracts, bulk orders). Implement customer feedback strategies to improve product and service. Desired Candidate ProfileEducation: MBA in Marketing / Sales / Business Development (preferred), or equivalent qualification. Experience: Minimum 10–15 years in Sales & Marketing in the Automobile / EV industry, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role. Strong experience in dealer development, channel management, and corporate sales. Proven track record of achieving high revenue growth. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Strategic thinker with ability to execute in fast-paced environments.
