General Manager - Sales & Marketing

to lead the

Probiotics & Nutraceuticals

business. This role demands a strategic leader capable of driving revenue growth, spearheading market expansion, and building a high-performing sales and marketing team. The position combines strategic planning, business development, and cross-functional collaboration, with significant travel and customer engagement responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Market Growth

  • Formulate and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, drive market expansion, and enhance brand presence across regions.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor the sales and marketing teams to deliver performance excellence.
  • Build capability through coaching, training, and structured performance management.

Client & Partner Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Gather and act on market and customer feedback to refine business strategies.

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Oversee brand positioning, promotional campaigns, and marketing communications.
  • Align marketing initiatives with business goals to strengthen the brand's presence and reputation.

Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and regulatory developments.
  • Use data-driven insights to anticipate challenges and identify emerging opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A scientifically grounded leader with postgraduate education in life sciences and management expertise.
  • 15-20 years of proven success in B2B sales within the Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals, or Health Supplements domain.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop markets, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of science-based wellness products and customer-driven innovation.
