Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager Human Resources located in Kochi, India. The General Manager – Human Resources will provide strategic leadership and oversight of the hospital’s human resources function. The role is responsible for formulating and implementing HR policies, ensuring statutory and NABH compliance, managing talent acquisition and workforce development, and fostering a high-performance and engaged organizational culture across the hospital.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 15-20 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Proven experience managing large teams and HR operations.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with hospital goals.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention of clinical and administrative staff.
  • Manage performance appraisal, learning & development, and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and NABH standards.
  • Lead employee engagement, grievance resolution, and staff welfare initiatives.
  • Supervise payroll, benefits administration, and HR reporting.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize workforce planning and operational efficiency.
