About Satyarthi Centre for Global Compassion - The Satyarthi Centre for Global Compassion (SCGC), is the first international hub to cultivate and promote Compassion in Action and Compassionate Leadership in the world through research, training, outreach, partnerships, and advocacy. SCGC is an institution of active learning and practice through the exchange of innovative ideas, knowledge creation, ground-breaking research and training. It will act as a focal point for the foremost experts and global thought leaders across various disciplines to develop, establish and enhance the Compassion Quotient (CQ),the first-of-its-kind measurable metric of Compassionate Intelligence (CI) and Compassion in Action (CA) in individuals and institutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy to support organization objectives and drive innovation. Lead and manage the IT department, including systems, networks, cybersecurity, and all technology operations. Ensure the organization’s IT infrastructure is robust, secure, scalable, and aligned with best practices. Oversee the implementation and management of enterprise software, cloud-based platforms, and internal systems. Design and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards for data security, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with leadership and departments to assess technology needs and deliver IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Manage IT budgets, allocate resources, and ensure cost-effective implementation of technology solutions. Identify emerging technology trends and recommend strategies for adoption to improve organizational performance. Supervise and mentor IT team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Lead and mentor the IT team through clear role definitions, periodic appraisals, and targeted skill development plans. Develop and assess team performance metrics, providing constructive feedback and aligning goals with the organization’s objectives. Act as a liaison for clarifying and implementing management decisions, driving strategic IT initiatives. Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to the IT team to ensure continuous improvement and performance excellence. Build and maintain relationships with external technology vendors and partners. Drive IT projects from planning to execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Stay current on industry trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge. Qualification & Skills; Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 15 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record of successfully managing IT teams and technology infrastructure. In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and data management. Experience with enterprise software platforms, especially Zoho, SaaS solutions, and ERP systems. Expertise in enterprise software, data management, and emerging technologies. Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proven ability to develop and manage IT budgets and resources effectively. Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building and developing high-performing teams. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and the ability to drive data-driven decision-making. Position Overview: Director (Fundraising) will lead the development and execution of fundraising strategies for Satyarthi Movement for Global Compassion, ensuring a steady stream of resources for the organization’s programs and initiatives. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in grassroots fundraising, donor management, and new donor acquisition. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in securing funds from High Net-worth Individuals (HNIs) both within India and internationally, in-depth networking with PSUs and private corporations for CSR funds as well as networking with foreign funders and familiarity with grant opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Fundraising Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure financial support for grassroots programs, including research and skilling initiatives. Lead efforts to diversify funding streams and raise funds for new programs and organizational priorities. Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with individual, corporate, and foundation donors to sustain and grow funding sources. Donor Acquisition & Retention: Manage the entire donor lifecycle, including acquisition, stewardship, and retention strategies, to build long-term partnerships. Develop tailored approaches for donor engagement and retention, ensuring alignment with the values and mission of the Satyarthi Movement. Major Gifts & High Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), private corporations and PSUs: Cultivate and manage relationships with major donors and potential HNI supporters in India and internationally. Strategically engage HNIs, private corporations, PSUs, and other influential stakeholders to increase financial support for key initiatives. Grant & Institutional Fundraising: Identify and apply for relevant grants and funding opportunities from institutional donors, including international organizations, foundations, and governmental bodies. Research & New Initiatives Fundraising: Raise funds to support research and skill-building initiatives that align with the Satyarthi Movement’s mission. Experience in raising funds for new initiatives, particularly in areas such as research, education, and skill development, is a significant advantage.
