General Manager Finance

As the General Manager - Finance at Indication Instruments Limited, a part of the Veethree Group of Companies, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial operations to ensure financial stability, compliance, and strategic growth. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Managing Director, you will need to be a well-rounded finance professional with expertise in various areas including accounting, taxation, auditing, financial planning, treasury, risk management, and compliance. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth, analyzing financial reports to provide insights to senior management, and preparing financial forecasts, budgeting, and variance analysis. You will be expected to ensure accurate financial statements such as P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow in compliance with IND-AS/IFRS standards, supervise day-to-day accounting operations, and lead statutory, internal, and tax audits. Managing Direct & Indirect Taxes, ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities, handling tax assessments and appeals, and liaising with tax consultants will be part of your role. You will also be responsible for monitoring cash flow, banking operations, fund management, optimizing working capital, managing borrowings and credit facilities, and maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions. Establishing internal controls and risk management frameworks, ensuring corporate governance and financial discipline, and implementing cost control measures are key aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will provide financial insights for business expansion, investments, and M&A activities, conduct feasibility studies, financial due diligence for new projects, and lead financial modeling and scenario analysis for strategic decisions. Your leadership skills will be essential as you lead, mentor, and develop the finance & accounts team, collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency, and represent the finance department in board meetings, investor discussions, and strategy meetings. The ideal candidate for this role should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in finance & accounts, preferably in the manufacturing/engineering/automobile industry, possessing strong expertise in accounting standards, taxation, audits, treasury, and financial planning. Preferred skills include knowledge of corporate finance, investment analysis, and M&A, hands-on experience in handling banking & investor relations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple stakeholders.
