🚨 Hiring: GM – Plant Operations (Support Services)

Location:

Function:

🔹 Job Purpose

To support manufacturing operations by ensuring seamless plant support services, statutory and legal compliance, and smooth day-to-day factory operations.

🔹 Educational Qualification

  • Essential:

    Graduation (Engineering preferred)
  • Desired:

    Management / Personnel Management / Labour Welfare

🔹 Experience & Demographics

  • Experience:

    18–27 years
  • Age Band:

    40–52 years
  • Industry Preference:

    Automobile / Auto Components
  • Travel Requirement:

    Low

🔹 Key Technical & Functional Competencies

  • Strong understanding of factory statutory & legal compliances
  • Proven expertise in

    Union Negotiations

    and

    Long-Term Settlements

  • In-depth knowledge of

    IMS standards

  • Contract Labour Management
  • Liaison with Government Authorities (CGWA, CPCB, Pollution Control Board, Labour Dept., District Admin, Police)
  • Effluent & Waste Management Systems
  • Administration of employee facilities (canteen, transport, security, housekeeping, gardening, uniforms, DIMH)
  • Safety audits, mock drills & emergency preparedness
  • Public speaking & stakeholder influencing skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure

  • Budgeting (Revenue, Capex & Fixed Assets) for support services & projects
  • Renewal & management of service provider agreements
  • License renewals & statutory return filings
  • Welfare initiatives & holiday calendar planning with Works Committee
  • Monthly review of statutory compliance & vendor performance
  • Coordination of safety, labor, factory, CGWA & pollution audits
  • Conducting mock drills and safety improvement initiatives
  • Monitoring plant & environmental equipment
  • Handling employee counseling, disciplinary actions & IR matters
  • Sustaining OHC operations & annual health checkups
  • Employee engagement & plant-level events
  • IR, Legal coordination & support activities (including Clean India initiatives)
