Job Description - General Manager (Fine Dining Restaurant) Location: BY THE FALLS (Ludhiana) Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Rs.60,000 + Incentives + Benefits Role Summary: We are looking for a polished, experienced, and visionary General Manager to lead the operations of our premium fine dining restaurant. The GM will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high service and culinary standards, managing team performance, and driving the restaurant's profitability. Key Responsibilities: Guest Experience & Brand Representation - Ensure a refined and memorable dining experience for each guest - Maintain excellence in hospitality, ambiance, and table service - Manage VIP clientele relations and handle high-profile guests with discretion Leadership & Team Management - Lead and inspire a team of service staff, sommeliers, and culinary professionals - Conduct regular training on fine dining etiquette, wine pairing, and service rituals - Establish a culture of precision, passion, and performance Operational Oversight - Supervise daily floor and kitchen coordination with the Executive Chef - Monitor reservations, private dining events, and special service setups - Maintain immaculate hygiene, decor, and safety standards Financial Management - Control food, beverage, and labor costs while maximizing revenue - Track P&L, forecast budgets, and implement cost-control strategies - Manage inventory, vendor relations, and procurement with attention to premium product quality Sales & Marketing - Collaborate on marketing strategies, seasonal events, wine dinners, etc. - Leverage customer feedback and online reviews to improve visibility and guest loyalty Reporting & Compliance - Ensure compliance with FSSAI, excise, licensing, and labor laws - Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for ownership/management Qualifications: - 5-8 years of proven management experience in luxury or fine dining settings - Strong understanding of service excellence, food presentation, and wine culture - Highly professional in grooming, communication, and interpersonal skills - Familiarity with fine dining SOPs, premium service protocols, and POS/CRM systems - Degree/Diploma in Hotel or Hospitality Management (preferred) What We Offer: - Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives - Opportunities for professional growth in a luxury hospitality environment - Fine dining exposure with a dynamic, creative team - Staff meals, benefits, and exclusive training programs Show more Show less
