General Manager

Location:

1. Role Overview

Responsible for overseeing business operations for the Nepal market from Ahmedabad, including strategy planning, sales & marketing leadership, distribution management, and team development. Ensures growth, revenue achievement, market penetration, and smooth coordination between HO, Nepal operations, and channel partners.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Strategic & Business Leadership

Prepare annual business plans aligned with company goals.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and P&L for Nepal operations.

Implement strategic roadmaps for growth and brand presence.

B. Sales & Business Development

Identify opportunities and drive sales to achieve targets.

Track competition and develop counter-strategies.

Build strong relationships with key doctors, hospitals, and partners.

C. Marketing & Product Promotion

Execute marketing plans, product launches, CMEs, seminars, and field activities.

Enhance brand visibility and ensure effective product positioning.

D. Distribution & Supply Chain

Appoint/manage CSA, distributors, and stockists in Nepal.

Ensure smooth stock flow from HO to CFA and distributors.

Monitor primary/secondary sales and territory performance.

E. Team Management

Lead and train the sales & marketing team.

Recruit new team members and improve field productivity.

Ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and documentation.

F. Operational Excellence

Review low-performing territories and drive corrective actions.

Handle customer issues and enhance service standards.

Maintain accurate expense and field activity reporting.

Channel & distribution management knowledge

Strong communication and analytical skills

4. Qualification & Experience

Graduate/Postgraduate in Science, Pharmacy, Business, or related field

10–15 years of experience with 5+ years in a leadership role

Nepal market experience preferred
