🔍 About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced professional to manage our GeM (Government e-Marketplace) operations and tender processes across government sectors. This role is critical in expanding our presence in public sector IT solutions and managing relationships with government clients.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee GeM portal operations, including product catalog management, pricing updates, and order processing
• Lead end-to-end tender management for IT government contracts including preparation, submission, and follow-up
• Ensure compliance with government procurement policies, GeM guidelines, and tender specifications
• Coordinate between internal technical teams and public sector clients to deliver tailored IT solutions
• Develop and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and procurement officers
• Analyze market opportunities in government IT sector and prepare strategic proposals
• Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies in government tenders
• Manage documentation, contracts, and legal compliance for government projects
• Collaborate with sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Prepare detailed tender responses highlighting our cybersecurity, data center, and digital transformation capabilities
✅ Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in GeM operations and government tender management
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes and policies
• Experience with IT sector tenders, particularly in cybersecurity, data centers, or digital infrastructure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and tender management tools
• Knowledge of compliance requirements for government contracts
• Strong analytical and project management skills
🌟 Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with major IT vendors (HP, Dell, Microsoft, Fortinet, etc.)
• Previous experience in B2G (Business to Government) sales
• Understanding of cybersecurity solutions and data center technologies
• Certification in project management (PMP) or procurement
• Experience with government clients in defense, healthcare, or educational sectors
