Job Description

As an ARC Analyst in the Finance department, your primary responsibility is to resolve sophisticated issues, deliver finance group reporting services, and support the delivery of timely and accurate statutory accounts and tax analysis while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Your key responsibilities include: - Supporting significantly larger and/or more complicated entities with a good understanding of the business nature and economic environment - Coordinating timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in line with relevant requirements - Supporting the delivery of timely and accurate statutory accounts and tax analyses through liaison with relevant teams - Supervising open and overdue items, communicating and following up with appropriate staff - Validating data, providing constructive input, and ensuring timely submission - Resolving complex issues and supporting preparation for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close - Developing a good understanding of general ledger and group reporting - Liaising with internal teams to ensure accurate data entry into the ledger - Collaborating closely with customers and colleagues in different locations, time zones, and systems Key Challenges you may face include: - Maintaining familiarity with various systems for different functions to ensure accurate balance reconciliation - Coordinating between teams in different locations, time zones, and systems - Building strong team connections to support Balance Sheet and P&L activities improvement Qualifications & Experience required for this role: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - Recognized professional accounting qualification preferred - Minimum of 5 - 6 years of experience in general and/or financial accounting - English language competency - Openness to work in all time zones/shifts, including weekends if required This role does not involve significant travel and is eligible for relocation within the country. It is a hybrid position of office/remote working.
