Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in modern web and app development. The ideal candidate is proficient in JavaScript (React, Node.js) and has backend experience in either Python or Java, along with strong API design/consumption skills. This role will contribute to building scalable, performant web applications and services that serve internal and external customers.

Core Skills Required

• Frontend : JavaScript, React (hooks, state management, component-driven design), responsive UI implementation.
• Backend : Node.js plus one of : Python (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI) or Java (Spring Boot, Jakarta EE).
• APIs : RESTful and/or GraphQL API design, implementation, and integration; familiarity with API versioning, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Databases : Experience with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) data stores.
• DevOps/Tooling : Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and basic cloud/deployment concepts is a plus.
• Testing : Unit/integration testing on frontend and backend; familiarity with test frameworks (Jest, PyTest, JUnit, etc.).
• Performance & Optimization : Profiling, caching strategies, and web performance best practices.
  

Roles & Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test, and maintain full stack web applications using React on the frontend and Node.js with Python or Java on the backend.
• Design and implement scalable and secure RESTful/GraphQL APIs consumed by web/mobile clients.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces.
• Integrate third-party services and internal microservices via APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and design patterns.
• Build automated tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to improving code quality across the team.
• Debug, profile, and resolve production issues; monitor application health.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and agile ceremonies.
• Mentor junior developers and help elevate team technical standards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose adoption where it adds value.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 6 years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Proven track record of shipping web applications in production.
• Strong understanding of web security principles (XSS, CSRF, CORS, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems is advantageous.
