Job Description: Full Stack Developer (Desktop Application - Electron)
Position Overview -We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer experienced in building desktop applications using Electron. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in frontend and backend development, desktop packaging, local database handling, and cross-platform application deployment. Key Responsibilities -• Develop and maintain cross-platform desktop applications using Electron. • Implement UI/UX screens using React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Tailwind, or Bootstrap. • Integrate backend logic with Node.js and maintain the application architecture. • Work with local databases such as SQLite and manage data storage efficiently. • Implement CRUD operations, offline-first features, and data validation. • Design scalable application components and reusable modules. • Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver within deadlines. • Debug, test, and optimize desktop application performance. Required Skills & Experience -• Strong experience with Electron (deployment, packaging, build process). • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS. • Frontend experience using React.js / Vite. • Backend experience with Node.js and Express. • Hands-on experience integrating local databases (SQLite preferred). • Knowledge of IPC communication between Electron main & renderer processes. • Experience with APIs, authentication, and state management. • Understanding of debugging and application optimization. Good to Have • Experience with file system handling, printing, exporting PDFs, etc. • Deployment on Windows, Linux and Mac platforms.• Knowledge of Git / CI/CD pipelines. Education-Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience )
