Role Overview
As a
Full Stack Data Scientist
, you will be responsible for the
complete data lifecycle
— from designing robust pipelines, building predictive models, and deploying them into healthcare/gym platforms, to integrating with hospital information systems. You will ensure
data translates into actionable insights and automation
for doctors, administrators, and patients.This is a
founding team role
— ideal for someone who wants to
shape healthcare data innovation from scratch
and take ownership of products impacting thousands of patients and institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Engineering & Pipelines
- Build end-to-end data pipelines from hospital systems, gyms, wearables, and IoT devices.
- Manage ETL processes, data cleaning, normalization, and structuring for healthcare datasets.
- Analytics & Dashboards
- Develop real-time analytics dashboards for hospital management, gym operations, and patient wellness tracking.
- Implement KPI frameworks (patient waiting time, inventory, infection control, equipment downtime, etc.).
- AI/ML Model Development
- Build predictive models for patient flow, disease risk, inventory optimization, and gym/wellness recommendation engines.
- Work on NLP for patient records and computer vision for medical imaging (future roadmap).
- Full Stack Integration & Deployment
- Deploy models into web/mobile applications for healthcare staff and patients.
- Work closely with DevOps engineers to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant deployment.
- Enable API integrations with HIS (Hospital Information Systems), gym apps, and partner platforms.
- Compliance & Data Security
- Ensure all solutions comply with healthcare data regulations (HIPAA, NDHM, GDPR).
- Implement data anonymization, encryption, and privacy-first practices.
Who Should Apply
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Statistics, or related field.
- Experience:
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience in data engineering + ML model deployment.
- Prior exposure to healthcare, wellness, or fitness data systems is highly preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Skills & Traits:
- Strong in Python, R, SQL, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Flask/Django.
- End-to-end ability — from data wrangling to deployment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable in an early-stage equity role.
- Strong communication skills to translate data into business/clinical insights.
