Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Lead specializing in React.js to lead our UI development team. The role requires deep expertise in building scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly web applications, along with the ability to guide and mentor a team of frontend engineers. The ideal candidate will be proficient in modern frontend frameworks, design patterns, and performance optimization techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of responsive, user-friendly web applications using React.js and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Define and enforce frontend development standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.
• Review code, provide technical mentorship, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.
• Work closely with architects to design scalable, maintainable, and reusable frontend components.
• Ensure application performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Drive CI/CD implementation, automated testing, and deployment practices for frontend modules.
• Stay updated with the latest frontend trends, tools, and technologies and bring innovation to the team.
• Contribute to project planning, estimation, and delivery timelines as a technical lead.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–10 years of hands-on experience in frontend development, with at least 2+ years in a lead role.
• Expertise in React.js, Redux (or other state management libraries), React Hooks, and Context API.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and ability to work closely with designers to bring wireframes to life.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices for frontend deployment.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in micro-frontend architecture and modular component design.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for hosting frontend applications.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments as a frontend lead.
