Frontend Engineer Internship in Bangalore

About The Role

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

• UI Development: Build and maintain responsive, interactive web applications using ReactJS.
• State Management: Work with Redux (and middleware like Thunk/Saga) to handle data flows and asynchronous operations.
• Design Integration: Translate Figma/mockup designs into clean, pixel-perfect, semantic HTML5 and CSS3.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver complete features.
• Performance & Quality: Learn to optimize rendering performance, ensure responsive layouts, and contribute to code reviews and testing.
• Documentation: Write clear documentation for components and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
• Core Skills: Good understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS3. Familiarity with responsive design (Flexbox, CSS Grid).
• State Management: Basic exposure to Redux for handling application state.
• Problem-Solving: Logical thinker, able to break down UI challenges into smaller tasks.
• Version Control: Familiar with Git and collaboration workflows.
• Communication: Proactive in asking questions, discussing design/technical challenges, and learning from feedback.
  

Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to UI libraries like Material-UI, Ant Design, or Bootstrap.
• Basic understanding of testing tools like Jest or React Testing Library.
• Experience with personal/college projects, internships, or open-source contributions in React.
