Job Description: Administrator at Aayushka Assisted Living, Chennai Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Administrator to lead and manage the daily operations of Aayushka Assisted Living, a premier senior living community located in Chennai. As the Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being, comfort, and safety of our residents while maintaining the highest standards of care and service. Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Oversee the overall management and coordination of the assisted living facility. Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations. Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless delivery of services, including nursing, dining, activities, and maintenance. Monitor and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to senior care facilities. Resident Care and Experience: Prioritize resident satisfaction by promoting a nurturing and supportive environment. Collaborate with the nursing and caregiving teams to ensure residents receive personalized care and attention. Address resident concerns and feedback promptly and professionally. Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise qualified staff members across various departments. Provide ongoing coaching and development to maintain a high-performing team. Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, communication, and growth. Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation. Work to achieve financial objectives while maintaining high-quality care and services. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and transparent communication with residents, families, and staff. Collaborate with medical professionals, local agencies, and community organizations to enhance resident well-being. Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess the quality of services provided, identifying areas for improvement. Implement quality assurance programs to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency protocols to ensure the safety and security of residents and staff. Coordinate with relevant authorities and agencies during emergencies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field Proven experience in senior living administration, healthcare management, or a related field. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with local regulations and standards related to senior care facilities. Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with seniors.
