ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Front Office Associate to be the welcoming face of The Fern Residency. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will create exceptional experiences while managing day-to-day front desk operations. Your warmth, professionalism, and problem-solving skills will directly impact guest satisfaction and loyalty.

In this role, you will master guest interactions, manage reservations seamlessly, and serve as a bridge between guests and our departments—ensuring every visitor leaves with a positive impression of The Fern Residency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet guests with genuine warmth and efficiently process check-ins and check-outs
• Manage reservations, room allocations, upgrades, and guest accounts with attention to detail
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
• Coordinate seamlessly with housekeeping, maintenance, F&B, and other departments
• Maintain front desk organization, cleanliness, and professionalism at all times
• Process payments accurately, manage billing discrepancies, and maintain financial records
• Provide comprehensive information about hotel facilities, amenities, local attractions, and services
• Monitor room status and manage overbooking situations tactfully
• Contribute to maintaining high occupancy rates through excellent service recovery

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English, Hindi and Bengali.
• Professional demeanour with genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service
• Ability to multitask effectively and maintain composure during peak hours
• Computer proficiency with experience in hotel management systems (e.g., InnKeys, Exceed) is a significant advantage.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Proactive problem-solving mind-set with a solutions-oriented approach
• Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to continuous improvement
• Must be a team player.
