Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Services

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process.
  • Provide information about rooms, rates, hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Handle guest requests promptly and professionally.
  • Manage guest complaints, resolve issues, or escalate to supervisors when necessary.
  • Ensure high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction at all times.

Front Desk Operations

  • Manage room assignments and update room status in the PMS.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including billing and posting of charges.
  • Process reservations, amendments, and cancellations as per hotel policy.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and documentation.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, security, F&B, and other departments for guest needs.

Communication & Coordination

  • Answer telephone calls and respond to email queries professionally.
  • Maintain daily front office reports and handover notes.
  • Ensure proper coordination for VIP arrivals, special requests, and group check-ins.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow hotel SOPs, policies, and grooming standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, health, and security guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in Front Office or customer service roles is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel PMS.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Pleasant personality with a customer-first attitude.

Work Conditions

  • Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Standing for long periods when attending front desk operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
