Role Overview

We are looking for self-driven freelance sales professionals

performance-based, commission-only freelance role

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation

• Identify and generate leads for

  individual learners

  (students, professionals) and

  corporate clients

  (HR, L&D, institutions).
• Leverage personal networks, referrals, cold outreach, events, networking platforms, and strategic partnerships.
• Maintain a lead tracker and share updates with the management team.

Sales & Closures

• Pitch Welkin’s

  S.E.E.D & PowerEDU

  offerings clearly and professionally.
• Conduct sales conversations, requirement discovery, and follow-ups.
• Negotiate within approved pricing frameworks and close deals independently.
• Coordinate with the internal Welkin team for onboarding, invoicing, and delivery.

Relationship Management

• Be the first point of contact for prospects until closure.
• Ensure smooth handover to the delivery / training team post-sale.

Compensation

• Commission:

  2% per successful closure (Sky is the limit for achievers)

• Commission is calculated on the actual amount received.

• Payouts are released post-payment realization

  from the client
• No fixed salary, retainer, or expense reimbursement

Engagement Type

• Freelance / Independent Consultant

• Non-exclusive (unless otherwise agreed in writing)

• No employer-employee relationship implied

Eligibility & Skills

• Proven experience or strong interest in

  sales, business development, or education/corporate training sales

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to work independently and meet targets

• Existing network in education, HR, L&D, corporates, or training is a strong advantage
