About Us:

At LuminaData, we're building AI coworkers for finance teams—automating time-consuming reconciliation and analysis work in Excel so accountants can focus on strategy, not spreadsheets. We’re on a mission to redefine productivity in accounting with intelligent, self-learning agents.

We're growing fast and looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us build a predictable sales pipeline and convert early interest into qualified leads. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the founders, influence GTM strategy, and grow with the company.

We’re especially focused on setting up more meetings with sales leaders across accounting and finance tech—this will be a key part of your role.


What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and reach out to sales leaders and decision-makers in accounting and finance firms.
  • Prospect and qualify leads through outbound channels (LinkedIn, email, cold calling, and tools like Apollo or Clay).
  • Understand prospects’ pain points, budgets, and buying timelines, and guide them toward a demo or discovery call.
  • Book meetings and demos for our founder and/or account executives.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and track outreach performance.
  • Iterate on messaging and campaigns based on market feedback.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine ICP and sales narratives.


Who You Are:

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and excited by startup energy.
  • Excellent communicator who enjoys engaging with new people.
  • Comfortable with outbound outreach and navigating gatekeepers.
  • Prior experience in lead generation, sales outreach, or appointment setting is a strong plus.
  • Bonus: Experience selling into finance/accounting or working with sales leaders.
