Role Overview

Team Lead – Founders’ Office

The person in this role will:

• Work closely with the CEO on strategic priorities, projects, and business growth initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and manage a team of consultants across multiple client engagements.
• Build processes, track execution, and ensure delivery against aggressive timelines.
• Act as a multiplier—amplifying the impact of the founders by bringing structure, clarity, and execution discipline.

Key Responsibilities

1. Founder’s Execution Partner

• Translate Leena’s strategic vision into actionable projects, timelines, and outcomes.
• Own follow-ups, project management, and ensure cross-team alignment.
• Manage special projects (internal and client-facing) directly from the CEO’s office.

2. Team Leadership & Management

• Manage and mentor a team of consultants working across diverse client projects.
• Build performance tracking systems, run stand-ups, and ensure client deliverables meet Black Panda’s quality benchmarks.
• Coach the team on decision-making, ownership, and execution rigor.

3. Operations & Systems

• Design and refine internal processes to make the firm more efficient.
• Work closely with data, operations, and marketing pods to ensure smooth delivery.
• Bring in structure across reporting, feedback loops, and knowledge management.

4. Culture & Growth

• Embody Black Panda’s values of resilience, curiosity, radical candour, and big-picture thinking.
• Foster a high-performance culture with empathy, accountability, and collaboration.

What We’re Looking For

• 2 - 3 of experience in managing teams, operations, strategy, or startup leadership roles.
• Strong project management and team leadership skills - able to drive multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
• Comfort working in ambiguity and creating clarity for others.
• Experience in fast-paced consulting/startup environments is a strong plus.
