Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Founder's Office role based in Chengalpattu. The individual in this role will work closely with the founder to manage diverse tasks that contribute to the startup's growth and operations. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, project management, carrying out market research, supporting operations, and assisting with company-wide initiatives. You will also help streamline communication, track progress on key projects, and ensure timely execution of deliverables in alignment with the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Product Shortlisting

• Identify and validate new SKUs suitable for the website and bulk requirements.

• Conduct demand research, pricing checks and competitor analysis.

• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and internal teams for product onboarding.

2. SEO-Friendly Product Content

• Write accurate and SEO-optimised product titles, descriptions and specifications.

• Ensure consistency across website listings and packaging or technical documentation.

• Understand user intent and highlight relevant product details for both retail and bulk buyers.

3. Customer and Stakeholder Issue Management

• Handle complex customer issues involving operations, logistics partners and suppliers.

• Manage escalations for bulk or technical orders.

• Ensure timely follow-up and clear communication to maintain customer satisfaction.

4. Partnerships and Community Coordination

• Assist in outreach to colleges, maker clubs, hardware teams and small businesses.

• Support small-batch programs, partnerships and distribution-related activities.

5. Founder Support and Capital-related Work

• Assist in preparing pitch documents, research reports and internal strategy notes.

• Coordinate investor communication when required.

• Support strategic projects that involve market research or business planning.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in research, data analysis, and strategy execution for business development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and team members effectively.
• Adaptability and problem-solving capabilities to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Familiarity with operational procedures, reporting, and process optimization is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience or interest in hardware, logistics, or startup sectors is beneficial.
