Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Forward Development Engineer. As a Development Engineer you’ll own integrations, custom feature builds, and deployments for enterprise clients. You’ll work closely with customer and internal teams to deliver reliable solutions, resolve issues, and extend the product with impactful features

Key Responsibilities

As a Forward Development Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Integration Ownership: Build and maintain API integrations with CRMs, dialers, and customer systems.
• Custom Development: Implement customer-specific features such as reporting dashboards, data validation checks, and workflow automation.
• Deployment Execution: Manage end-to-end onboarding for enterprise accounts, including stop bucket creation, configuration, and ensuring data pipelines are clean and reliable.
• Bug Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly, collaborating with product and core engineering teams.
• Customer Partnership: Work directly with customer technical teams to understand requirements, translate them into engineering solutions, and deliver value rapidly.
• Feature Implementation: Extend the core product through customer-facing features, pilots, and experiments, ensuring enterprise readiness.
• Feedback Loop: Surface insights from the field to influence product roadmap, scalability, and reliability improvements.

Who We’re Looking For

• 2–5 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or forward deployed roles (startups or enterprise SaaS preferred).
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and integrations with third-party enterprise systems (e.g., CRMs, dialers, ticketing platforms).
• Solid understanding of databases, data pipelines, and validation frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with enterprise clients.
