Job Description

A food court manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a food court's operations, including staff management, daily operations, customer service, inventory, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Key duties include scheduling and training staff, monitoring food quality, managing inventory and finances, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction across all food stalls.  Core responsibilities Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise food court staff to ensure excellent service and efficiency. Conduct performance reviews and resolve staff issues.  Daily Operations: Oversee all day-to-day activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all food stalls. This includes managing the overall workflow and addressing any issues that arise.  Customer Service: Ensure a high standard of customer service by addressing customer complaints and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.  Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and service. Inspect supplies and equipment to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.  Inventory and Procurement: Manage inventory levels, track food and supply costs, and oversee purchasing and vendor relationships to control expenses and ensure availability of supplies.  Health and Safety: Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations. This includes regular inspections and enforcing proper sanitization procedures.  Financial Management: Monitor revenues and expenses, and maintain the food service budget to ensure financial goals are met.  Menu and Promotions: May collaborate with vendors on menu planning, promotions, and events to drive customer traffic and sales.  Qualifications and skills Experience in food service management, hospitality, or a similar role. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
