Flutter Developer Intern

We are looking for a motivated Flutter Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of both front-end and back-end mobile development using Flutter and Dart, with a passion for building high-performance, cross-platform applications and enhancing user experiences. Key Responsibilities:

A) Application Development:

· Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.

· Implement responsive and adaptive UI/UX designs using Flutter widgets and packages to ensure consistent performance across Android and iOS platforms.

B) Database Management:

1. Design and manage relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

2. Optimize database performance through effective data modeling and query optimization.

C) API Development:

1. Create and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end services.

2. Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.

D) Code Review and Quality Assurance:

1) Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

2) Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure application reliability and performance.

E) Collaboration:

1. Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

F) Continuous Improvement:

1) Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually enhance skills and application performance.

2) Suggest improvements to the development process and software architecture.

Required Skills:

· Strong understanding of Flutter and Dart fundamentals, including widget-based UI development and reactive programming.

· Basic knowledge of mobile application architecture and lifecycle for Android and iOS platforms.

· Familiarity with developing simple mobile applications using Flutter for both platforms.

· Understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to create responsive, adaptive designs using Flutter widgets.

· Basic knowledge of working with local databases (e.g., SQLite, Hive) and performing CRUD operations.

· Exposure to development tools such as Android Studio, VS Code, or Xcode.

· Understanding of version control systems like Git, even through academic or personal projects.

· Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

· Logical thinking and basic problem-solving skills.

· Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow within a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with state management approaches in Flutter (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or GetX).
• Knowledge of API integration using RESTful services and handling JSON data in mobile apps.
• Exposure to Firebase services (e.g., Firestore, Authentication, Push Notifications, Crashlytics).
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum development methodologies through academic projects or training.
• Basic awareness of testing frameworks like Flutter Test, Mockito, or integration_test.
• Interest in mobile app deployment to Google Play Store and Apple App Store (even if only through tutorials or demos).
• Participation in coding competitions, hackathons, academic mobile projects, or open-source contributions.
• Completion of online courses or certifications related to Flutter, Dart, or mobile app development (e.g., Udemy, Coursera).
• Ability to write basic project documentation, such as README files and installation guides.
• Exposure to tools for database integration in Flutter apps (e.g., SQLite, Hive, or Drift).
