Fleet Management – Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant with strong experience in Fleet Management processes to design, implement, and support fleet-related financial operations. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to optimize vehicle lifecycle costing, asset accounting, maintenance expenses, fuel management, and compliance within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and map fleet management business processes (vehicle procurement, leasing, maintenance, fuel, insurance, depreciation).
  • Configure Dynamics 365 Finance modules:
  • Fixed Assets
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Budgeting & Cost Accounting
  • Design vehicle asset structures, asset groups, depreciation books, and capitalization rules.
  • Implement maintenance and operating cost tracking for vehicles.
  • Integrate fleet operations with Procurement, Inventory, and Project Accounting (if applicable).
  • Support fuel expense management, vendor billing, and cost allocations.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and audit requirements.
  • Prepare functional specifications and support data migration.
  • Conduct UAT, user training, and post-go-live support.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for integrations and customizations.
  • Provide ongoing system optimization and troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4–8 years of experience in Dynamics 365 Finance / AX (2012/2009).
  • Strong understanding of fleet management operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Fixed Assets and Cost Accounting.
  • Knowledge of vehicle depreciation, leasing, and lifecycle costing.
  • Experience in requirement gathering and solution design.
  • Ability to interact with business and technical teams.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large fleet operations (logistics, transport, utilities).
  • Knowledge of integrations with fleet tracking or telematics systems.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification.
  • Experience in end-to-end implementation projects.

Employment Type

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 28 – 50 per week
