Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain ERP solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The role focuses on AL development, extensions, integrations, upgrades, and technical support, working closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

AL Development & Customization

• Develop and maintain AL extensions using extension-based architecture.
• Customize Business Central without modifying base objects.
• Develop and enhance:
• Tables, Pages, Codeunits
• Reports (RDLC / Word)
• Queries and XMLports
• Implement role center and UI customizations.

Integrations & APIs

• Develop and consume REST and OData APIs.
• Integrate Business Central with third-party systems (CRM, WMS, payment gateways, banking).
• Work with Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions – preferred).

Upgrades & Migrations

• Migrate legacy C/AL code to AL.
• Support NAV to Business Central upgrades.
• Convert customizations into extensions.
• Resolve breaking changes and deprecated feature issues.

Data & Reporting

• Create and modify RDLC and Word reports.
• Support data migration using:
• Configuration Packages
• RapidStart
• APIs and data import tools
• Optimize performance and data accuracy.

Support & Code Quality

• Debug and resolve technical issues.
• Perform unit testing and peer code reviews.
• Maintain technical documentation.
• Follow Microsoft best practices and coding standards.
• Support monthly and yearly BC release updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience in Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central development.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• AL language
• Visual Studio Code
• Git / Azure DevOps
• Good understanding of BC standard modules:
• Finance
• Sales
• Purchasing
• Inventory
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Business Central SaaS environments.
• Knowledge of Azure integration patterns.
• Experience with AppSource apps and ISV solutions.
• Microsoft Business Central certification.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodology.
