Designation: Assistant Manager / Manager


Job Summary:

Looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Professional with a strong academic background and hands-on experience in financial operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, reporting and budgeting using advanced tools like Excel and Power Query.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and optimize monthly MIS reporting to track key performance indicators and operational metrics for the firm.
  • Conduct variance analysis against prior periods / budgets and provide key highlights to leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial KPI analysis through and provide inputs to support strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in budget planning and monitoring, tracking actuals, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and targets. Analyze data and prepare reports to support decision-making processes, highlighting key insights and trends.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and decision-making using tools such as Advanced Excel.
  • Collaborate with BU and Operations teams to understand business drivers and provide financial guidance.
  • Support implementation of automation tools and digital solutions to streamline processes. Also identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative transformation ideas.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality output while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualification:

  • MBA in Finance / CA or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Extremely strong work experience in MS Office, especially Advanced Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Power Query is required; Experience in Power BI will be an added advantage.
  • Must understand operational processes and financial analysis techniques.
  • Ability to work on data and generate various types of reports / analysis.
  • Ability to handle high-level data analysis and interpretation.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Proactive and self-driven with continuous improvement mindset.
