Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

Responsibilities :

Monthly Closure of Books of Accounts

1. Lead and manage the monthly and year-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
2. Coordinate with various departments to gather inputs and ensure all transactions are recorded properly.
3. Perform ledger scrutiny and balance sheet reconciliations.
4. Ensure accurate provisioning and accruals in line with accounting standards.

Financial Statement Preparation

1. Prepare and review standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS/GAAP).
2. Liaise with auditors and consultants during internal, statutory, and tax audits.
3. Ensure accurate mapping of trial balances to financial statements.

Accounting and Controls

1. Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
2. Monitor compliance with company policies and internal controls.
3. Analyse variances and provide meaningful insights on financial performance.

Systems and Process Improvement

1. Work with SAP team to drive efficiency in reporting and closing processes.
2. Recommend and implement process improvements for better financial reporting and analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA preferred.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, accounting, and reporting.
• Strong command of accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS/GAAP).
• Experience working in SAP or other ERP environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
