This role is critical in supporting teams located across India in making informed decisions by building robust, data-driven financial models that evaluate property acquisitions, developments, mortgage requirements, and portfolio performance. Key Objectives
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support real estate investment, development, and financial structuring decisions.
- Analyze market trends, property performance, and financial metrics to guide strategic planning by obtaining support from teams across India.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate and timely deliver of the financial models.
Responsibilities
- Build, update, and validate detailed financial models including cash flow projections, valuation, and scenario analysis for real estate assets.
- Conduct sensitivity and risk analysis to assess potential impacts on investment returns.
- Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations summarizing model findings for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Work closely with valuation and advisory teams to align assumptions and data inputs.
- Continuously improve modelling processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in financial modelling, preferably within real estate or related industries.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modelling software; experience with Argus or similar real estate platforms is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Understanding of real estate markets, investment principles, and valuation methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Real Estate, construction management or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
