Financial Analyst

The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership. Role ResponsibilitiesGather and analyze Staffing industry related financial and economic data for several competitors in the US marketMonitors, reviews, and documents competitor actions including key staffing changes, new technology, and other changes. Determines impact on business and report as appropriatePerform specialized tasks such as key facts research, market/industry/economic overview research and analysis, comparable company analysis/comparable transaction analysis, screening, etc. in both normal and high-pressure situationsPrepare financial models (ROI/company valuation) and statistical modelsPerform daily, monthly and quarterly tasks, which include performing quality control on market data collected.Participate in ad hoc projects to optimize processes Qualifications2-4 years’ experience in market data analysis, performance analysis, valuationsCandidate from finance domain/having good finance knowledge.Candidate pursuing or cleared CFA level 1 preferred.Prior experience in Buy-side/sell-side activities preferredPrior experience in working with US clients/counterparts preferredWork experience in statistical modeling, quantitative research, financial analysis & data mining techniquesProven ability to apply mathematical and statistical techniques in the development of financial modelsStrong Excel skills & excellent communication skills
