Role: Finance Associate

Are you ready to manage finance at the speed of innovation? At GrowthJockey, you’ll work alongside pioneers from companies like Microsoft, Uber, PayPal, Airtel, and Jio to build and scale next-gen ventures. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring financial discipline, compliance, and strategic insights that power high-growth businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and financial records.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
• Prepare MIS reports, P&L statements, and monthly financial dashboards.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for ventures.
• Ensure compliance with taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and statutory filings.
• Assist in audits, financial documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with business teams to provide financial insights for decision-making.
• Implement internal financial controls to drive efficiency and reduce risks.
• Support venture finance setup for new business units.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce (BCom/MCom) or professional qualification (ICWA).
• 1-2 years of experience in finance, accounts, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, financial models).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of startup/venture finance.
• Exposure to investor reporting and fundraising processes.
• Experience in automation tools for finance operations.
• Familiarity with global accounting practices.
