Job Description

Job Summary:

The Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations of the NBFC, including budgeting, forecasting, fund management, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and strategic planning. The role is critical in ensuring financial health, regulatory compliance, and optimal capital utilization to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Provide financial insights to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct profitability and cost analysis for products, branches, or business units.

2. Fund Management & Treasury:

  • Manage daily cash flow and working capital requirements.
  • Monitor borrowings, fund utilization, and ensure timely repayments to lenders.
  • Liaise with banks and financial institutions for debt raising and credit lines.

3. Accounting & Financial Reporting:

  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards (IND-AS, IFRS, etc.).
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end/year-end closing and consolidation.
  • Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

4. Compliance & Taxation:

  • Ensure adherence to RBI norms, statutory laws, and tax regulations.
  • Handle TDS, GST, income tax filings, and coordinate with consultants and auditors.
  • Maintain proper documentation for regulatory inspections and audits.

5. Team Management & Systems Implementation:

  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance executives.
  • Implement financial systems, ERP, and automation tools for process efficiency.
  • Coordinate with IT, operations, and business teams for integrated financial operations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of NBFC regulations, RBI guidelines, and financial compliance
  • Expertise in financial modeling, accounting principles, and MIS reporting
  • Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel, and data analysis tools
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • CA / MBA (Finance) / CMA or equivalent
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or treasury roles, preferably in an NBFC or financial institution
  • Experience in handling audits, lender relations, and regulatory reporting is a strong plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹19,445.61 - ₹53,709.86 per month
