What You'll Do

Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

, ensuring accuracy and compliance with

UK GAAP/IFRS

Ensure VAT and tax filings

(P11d, PSA, CT) are completed and submitted on time, maintaining full compliance with legal and tax obligations.📊

Manage month-end and year-end close processes

, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals for accurate reporting.📈

Upload trial balances and financial results

into the group reporting system (

Tagetik

) and support Group Finance with ad hoc information requests.🌍

Assist with US entity filings

in coordination with external accountants and take ownership of key processes such as payroll.📋

Maintain general ledger integrity

and oversee all aspects of the balance sheet, statutory accounts, and audit coordination.🛠️

Develop and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures

, driving efficiency and ensuring audit readiness.🔍

Oversee cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliations, and payment processes

, supporting treasury management and investment decisions.💰

Implement and monitor invoicing schedules

to optimize cash flow and ensure timely billing post-enrolment.🤝

Collaborate with cross-functional teams

to ensure financial accuracy and transparency across business units.👥

Lead and mentor junior finance staff

What We’re Looking For

✅

Fully Qualified Accountant

– CIMA / ACCA / ACA (or country equivalent).✅

8+ years of experience

in financial accounting or audit, ideally within professional services or multi-entity organizations.✅

Strong technical expertise

in

UK GAAP and IFRS

, with proven experience in month-end close, statutory reporting, and audits.✅

Commercially aware

professional with the ability to provide strategic financial insights and add business value.✅

Advanced proficiency in Excel

and hands-on experience with modern accounting systems such as

Xero, NetSuite, and Sage Intacct
