Job Description

Post: Finance InternLocation: Andheri West, MumbaiExperience: 0.6–1 yearsType: Full-TimeTHE APPLICANT MUST CARRY THEIR OWN LAPTOP.

Overview

The Finance Intern will play an important role in supporting the finance and accounts team in day-to-day operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical exposure in corporate finance, accounting, and compliance. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn in a dynamic work environment.Key Responsibilities

Assist in day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
Support in maintaining and reconciling bank entries, invoices, and expense records.
Help prepare TDS, GST, and other statutory compliance data.
Update and maintain financial trackers and spreadsheets.
Assist in vendor payment processing and follow-ups.
Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Prepare and organize financial documentation for audits and reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data for analysis.
Assist in preparing management reports and summaries.
Track and verify reimbursements, petty cash, and purchase orders.
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in handling financial data.
Conduct research on financial trends and industry benchmarks as required.
Participate in finance team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books) is a plus.
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new financial tools and processes.
Time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
Interest in financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance procedures.
