Finance Head - GCC

About the Role:

Finance Head

This leadership role requires strong business acumen, deep understanding of global finance processes, and a proven track record in managing large teams, digital transformation, and stakeholder engagement across geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Leadership:

• Lead and manage the Finance Shared Services Center, aligning with global finance strategy and corporate objectives.
• Partner with global CFO and regional finance heads to define and implement best-in-class processes and governance frameworks.
• Drive transformation initiatives, process automation, and continuous improvement through technology (RPA, AI, analytics).
• Ensure alignment of shared services operations with global compliance, audit, and control standards.

Operational Excellence:

• Oversee end-to-end operations across

  Accounts Payable (P2P), Accounts Receivable (O2C), Record to Report (R2R), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  and

  Tax & Compliance.

• Establish robust SLAs, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor efficiency and service quality.
• Lead financial close, reporting, and consolidation processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Drive cost optimization and operational excellence across all finance processes.

People & Governance:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team within the Shared Services setup.
• Build a culture of accountability, transparency, and service excellence.
• Collaborate with HR and global teams to build leadership pipelines and succession plans.

Technology & Transformation:

• Champion digital finance transformation and automation initiatives.
• Work with IT and transformation teams to implement ERP, RPA, and analytics tools (SAP, Oracle, Power BI, etc.).
• Identify opportunities for standardization and process centralization across regions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in Shared Services / GCC Finance Operations.
• Deep knowledge of global accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP), internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven experience managing multi-process, multi-entity finance operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to drive change, lead transformation, and deliver measurable business impact.

Preferred Background:

• Experience in

  Global Capability Centers (GCCs), Captive Finance Operations

  , or

  Multinational Shared Services

  environments.
• Exposure to ERP systems like SAP / Oracle and tools for automation & analytics.
• Experience in transitioning or setting up finance shared services is a strong plus.
