Role Overview:

The Head of Accounts & Finance will be responsible for end-to-end financial management of the company’s global entities engaged in affiliate marketing. This includes overseeing revenue & spending reconciliations, financial planning, taxation (India & USA), profitability analysis, compliance, cost optimization, and leading the finance team. The role requires close coordination with media buyers, agencies, operations teams, external CPAs, and auditors to ensure accurate reporting, profitability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reconciliation & Analysis

1.) Reconcile revenue and ad spending on each account managed by media buyers.

2.) Calculate and finalize media buyers’ incentives based on spending, revenue, and testing budgets.

3.) Verify agency spending balances and ensure data accuracy in consultation with media buyers and their team leaders.

4.) Conduct client-wise revenue reconciliation for each Line of Business (LOB) and track payments based on agreed terms.

5.) Analyze and negotiate commission percentages with vendors/agencies to optimize profitability.

6.) Collaborate with the operations team to evaluate account quality across agencies and scale partnerships with minimum commission fees.

Profitability & Reporting

7.) Identify gross margins by consolidating results across group entities (India, USA, Singapore, UAE).

8.) Track indirect expenses (employee salaries, office expenses, domains, servers, platform charges, travel, team meetings, etc.) to calculate net margins.

9.) Finalize books of accounts for domestic and overseas entities as per applicable tax years.

10.) Prepare monthly/quarterly profitability reports and discuss results with company owners.

11.) Assist in future planning by forecasting profitability structures and business growth opportunities.

Taxation & Compliance

12.) Coordinate federal and franchise tax filings for the US entity in collaboration with CPA firms.

13.) Stay updated on US taxation trends and compliance requirements.

14.) Estimate and ensure timely payment of advance taxes in India and the USA.

15.) Finalize accounts and ensure tax compliance for Singapore and UAE entities.

16.) Monitor GST refund claims in the Singapore entity and ensure timely realization.

Team Management & Governance

17.) Lead, guide, and review the finance team to ensure timely task completion.

18.) Ensure due diligence and compliance standards are strictly followed within the company.

19.) Implement cost-cutting measures to optimize indirect expenses without affecting operations.

20.) Explore and evaluate new investment opportunities for business growth.
