Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting & Bookkeeping Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks). Maintain ledgers, reconcile bank statements, and ensure timely data entry. Process accounts payable and receivable. 2. Financial Reporting Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Generate MIS reports for management review (e.g., cash flow, P&L, balance sheet). Track budget vs. actual expenses and highlight variances. 3. Taxation & Compliance Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, and other statutory filings. Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and coordination with auditors. Maintain proper documentation for tax compliance. 4. Payroll & Expense Management Support payroll processing, including salary disbursement and compliance (PF, ESI). Review employee expense claims and ensure policy compliance. 5. Banking & Treasury Operations Coordinate with banks for payments, fund transfers, and reconciliations. Manage petty cash and monitor cash flow positions. Key Skills & Competencies: Solid knowledge of accounting principles and standards Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, SAP, Zoho Books, etc.) Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Good communication and organizational skills Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (B.Com/M.Com) MBA (Finance) or CA Inter/CMA Inter preferred Preferred Certifications (Optional): GST Practitioner Course Advanced Excel Certification
